Challenge: The Agnes Irwin School, a premier Philadelphia Main Line School for Girls, considers the health and well being of the student and faculty population paramount. In lieu of the events of 9/11, the Board of Directors along with the Executive Committee made the decision to implement security in conjunction with the construction of the New Arts & Science Center. This would eventually be the start of a campus-wide security implementation.
Solution: Unlimited Technology, Inc. was asked to perform a security vulnerability assessment of the existing Lower & Middle Schools. The resulting SVA included recommendations for integrated access control, intercom systems and CCTV cameras and digital event recording throughout the campus. UTI completed the turnkey security integration starting with the Arts & Science Center and more recently completed the integration of the Lower School building onto the same system. UTI looks forward to the expansion of the security systems throughout the school campus and continues to support the school with the latest updates, leading edge product offerings and timely service whenever necessary.
